We Shuckin Southern Eatery

Didn't realize this place was here. We were hungry and my Hubby pulled into this drive-thru. I was initially disappointed because I was not in the mode for Burger King. But then I quickly realized that this menu was totally different, so I asked where we were. Then he decided to go in to order so we could really look at the menu and decide. This place was very nostalgic. So many memorabilia that I remember from when I was younger. The young lady who took our order was really nice and allowed us to take our time reviewing the menu and ordering. We were with the kids so they enjoyed playing the little sack game and the giant connect four game. I got to take a look around and saw the out door area which looked like a nice place for a small get together space. One of the cooks came out to let us know that they were cooking fresh fries and to apologize for the wait. We appreciated the update and just enjoyed taking a look around while we waited. One of my kids and I had the shrimp and fries, and I added a side of macaroni and cheese. My Hubby had the fish and grits. The my or these two kids had the chicken tenders and fries. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We got home and set down around the table to chat and eat and really enjoyed everything. I really enjoyed the shrimp and it was the perfect amount. We will definitely recommend you stop and eat here and we definitely plan to stop there again to try other items.
