    Your grandmama works here

The food was sooo good. We were a little confused when we first arrived because the cafeteria is connected to a House of Prayer for All People, but it is NOT affiliated. This is a cafeteria; Lots of tables, simple decorations, you tell the servers what you want and they place it on your plate. They give hefty portions for a decent price and the food is delicious; like going to your grandmama’s house on a Sunday evening. We had the turkey wings, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese, BBQ ribs, and candied yams. All of it delicious. They had a number of other items and change specials daily. I don’t live in DC but if I did I would be there frequently.
