Had a takeout of Beef short ribs w/ collard greens & cabbage, & shrimp & grits. Both were reasonably priced & in generous portions. The beef short ribs were perfectly seasoned & very tender. The grilled shrimp w/ creamy grits was heavenly. Will definitely go back to try other dishes. In a neighborhood full of good soul food & Southern food restaurants, this one stands out.
Today I had the Fried Whiting with Mac and Cheese and Cabbage.... Sweet Tea and Red Velvet Cake. The meal was delicious the fish was nice and hot. I really liked that the veggies are not cooked with meat.... the cabbage was delicious. The meal was very good and I will be back again. Why 4 instead of 5.... so the cake was just ok it almost tasted boxed.
