Horrible.
30 degree weather
Upon entering the hostess gave her spill about not being able to stay inside the establishment without your full party. Either outside by a heat lamp or get your car from valet. I asked if seating at the bar was available she said it was. I went to the bar, the bartender wasn’t at his station.. while I’m waiting the Manager comes to me and repeats that I need to wait outside because the bar wasn’t a waiting area. When I said your hostess just told me that I could sit at the bar but I had to stay at the bar AND I’m trying to order but your bartender isn’t at his post. The manager proceeds to tell me she just wanted to reiterate to me that it wasn’t a holding area because she was dealing with “this” issues with someone else and that now she will send the bartender over because they know not to serve folks waiting. Wtf? HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and tacky. That had nothing to do with me. I was given the rules and had no issue.
Then I listen as the hostess and the manager have conversation on how they just need to get the rest of the “trash out”. This was after interacting with the customers whom they WERE having WORDS with. Neva again!!!!
I had lamb chops in brown gravy and eggs.- Bland . My friend had the pancakes- BUSSIN!
I had the veggie omelet which came with brioche toast, housemade marmalade and fresh arugula with tomatoes. My friend had the two eggs with toast, turkey sausage and fruit. Everything was good. Parking is valet only or find your own down the street or around the corner.
The sage waffle is divine. I also enjoyed the shrimp & grits. Only wish that it had a little more sauce. My companion had the salmon croquettes and raved over those too.
Dined-in. The decor is beautiful, even in the bathroom. No loud music, which I like. The staff offered top notch service. It's definitely got a classy vibe & will be back often.
