Anytime I’m in Harlem I will literally come here. Not only was my meal A M A Z I N G. (Fried chicken dinner w collard greens, & potato salad - extra side of mac & cheese) But my waiter and bartender, Abe went above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend and I had the most comfortable time. I simply asked for a caffeinated alcoholic beverage and this drink brought me back to life. If you ever go here ask for Abe and his coffee/brandy drink! The best part was while we were sitting outside eating, my friend and I were the only individuals who saw Love and Hip Hop star, Mendeeces at the light in a Maserati. Wonderful experience, and live music. This place is definitely worth a try.

    Power to the people

“Supporting black-owned business is a small piece, but it’s something that people can do consistently, even when people are not protesting anymore.” It’s important now more than ever that we stand together as a community and people and unite! What once stood at 122nd and Malcolm X Boulevard, now expands to the corner of 116th and Frederick Douglass Blvd. Enriched with Harlem’s history, BLVD Bistro has quickly become my favorite out of many brunch spots in NY. You stole my heart once at 122nd and you will still have my heart at 116th and beyond! With that said: my visit was phenomenal! This Sunday was typically good because although the weather was bit humid, it was great to see our people of color sitting and eating together. The live DJ was an added bonus. From the food (which fantastic) to the cleanliness of the tables, very strategic social distancing guidelines, I will be back and BLVD Bistro has now become my go to brunch spot.
